This qualification equips you to be an exercise instructor for gym or group exercise. It provides you the skills and knowledge to be competent in a range of activities and functions in a exercise instructor role. You may find yourself in a role at a gym, fitness centre, pools, community facilities and in outdoor environments. The duration of the course is 6 months, and by taking the fitness course to Diploma Degree the student visa can last up to 3 years. Tuition fee is $1,690 every 3 months.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
The Certificate III in Fitness Instructing can be taken without prior qualifications. You should however have a reasonable level of fitness as well as reading, writing and numeracy skills. Experience of free weights and resistance machines is recommended, but not essential.
